When I connect to the server, the game crashes

Hello! I downloaded the archive for windows from here:viewtopic.php?f=6&t=59
The server starts everything runs perfectly, but when I connect to the server typing the command connect localhost:27015
the game get stuck and does not download any file you have to press the cancel button to return to the main menu
i use counter strike steam on
I can't enter the server at all

Please help me i want to play this mod and i don t know why my game gets stuck i didn t put the files on game folder just extracted the windows archive from here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=59 to desktop and started the server using hlds bat

Have you tried to install the mod step by step?
So try to install the mod requirements (ReHLDS, ReGameDLL, AMXX 183, ReAPI) then install the mod (make sure to compile locally).
